Die Gestalt der LEUCHTE IV bentsteht aus dem Wunsch nach der minimalen Verkleidung einer Leuchtstoffröhre. Das Gehäuse besteht aus einem dickwandigen Aluminiumprofil, welches Zylinderförmige Ausschnitte für den Lichtauslass bekommt. Die Hängepunkte links und rechts sind gelenkig gelagert, was zur Richtungsänderung des Gehäuses führt, und somit den Ausfallwinkel ändern kann. Seitlich ist ein Potentiometer zur stufenlosen Dimmbarkeit der Leuchtmittel angebracht.
Die Leuchte ist ein Prototyp, der zur Salon del Mobile zum ‘MADE ‘n Berlin 2008′ Projekt vorgestellt wurde, und auch in einigen unserer Interior Entwürfe wieder auftaucht.
The Design of the LEUCHTE IV is based on the demand for the minimal housing for a fluorescent light tube. The body consists of a hollow round aluminium profile that is perforated with even cylindric openings for the emittance of light. The suspension points are simply supported in order to turn the body and therefore adjust the angle of emittance. On one end a potentiometer controls the intensity of the light source.
This lamp is a prototype and was exhibited at the Salon del Mobile in Milan for the project ‘MADE ‘n Berlin 2008,’ and is constantly being used in our interior designs.
