This cantilever chair with a foldable sub structure is optimized in a way that the angle between the backrest and the connecting surface is equal to the angle of the load bearing structure – amongst the same same relations of height and distance. The simple mechanical detail, a revolver bolt with six bolts, freezes the 2 parts in any desired angle, at last the completly retracted mode. When retracted, the chair is stackable. With a connector two retracted chairs can be combined to a bench. Further versions of the connectors suggest a connection in the direction of the Z-axis.
